The House:

To LET Summer season, apartment in "Zanca-S.Andrea" Comune of Marciana, 42 c.m., double bedroom, kitchen-living room with sofa bed, bathroom, T.V., garden and parking place. This newly built house is beautifully located in the Arcipelago Park and offers a panoramic view of Corsica and Capraia.

How to get there:

From Portoferraio follow the road signs to Procchio-Marciana Marina. At Marciana Marina follow the road to Marciana and then to Zanca-S.Andrea. (From Portoferraio there are 32km to Marciana Marina, from Marciana Marina to Marciana 12km and from Marciana to Zanca-S.Andrea 6km)

The Beaches in the Comune of Marciana:

Procchio ( sandy); Spartaia (sandy); S.Andrea (sandy and rocky); Cotoncello (sandy and rocky), Patresi-mare ( pebble); Pamonte (pebble); Chiessi ( rocky); La Paolina (sandy). On the San Andrea beach, run by the Consortium in defence of the environment of Capo San Andrea , it is possible to hire umbrellas and deck chairs Kayaks and boats. A surfing and an underwater diving instructor are available to give lessons. Medical assistance is always present on the beach . A bar-restaurant, tennis courts, newspaper and magazine stand and a shop also selling tobacco.

Excursions

Monte Capanne (1019 m) there are six sign-posted trails indicating the time it takes to walk from Marciana Poggio, Valle Nevera, Chiessi, Pomonte to the top of Monte Capanne to enjoy a magificent view. Either walk or take the cable car to the top. Monte Perone (630 m. above s.l.) walk or drive Santuario della Madonna del Monte ( 627 m. above s.l.) reached only on foot.
